1. Facebook and Instagram data we keep
If you connected your Page in the MOON Post dashboard, we keep:
- the Page access token (or, where applicable, the user access token);
- the Facebook Page ID and the ID of the linked Instagram account;
- the Page name, the Instagram username and the connection date;
- links to the posts published by MOON Post;
- the profile picture taken as a logo, if you asked for that in the dashboard.
2. Remove the app on Facebook
On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, select the app you used to connect MOON Post and click Remove. From that moment the token stops working and we can no longer publish to your Page or Instagram account.
Removing the app stops access but does not delete data already stored by us. To have it deleted, also send the request in step 3.
3. Request deletion
E-mail [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion" and include:
- the company name or MOON Post customer account;
- the Facebook Page (name or link) and, if relevant, the Instagram account;
- whether you want only the Page disconnected or the whole customer account closed and deleted.
We may ask for an additional confirmation to make sure you are an admin of the Page or the customer's contact person.
4. What we delete
- When disconnecting the Page: the token, the Page and Instagram account IDs, their names and any logo taken from Facebook or Instagram.
- When deleting the customer account, additionally: drafts, generated articles and images, topic history, pages read from your website, synced products and the account's users.
Posts already published stay on your Page and Instagram account — they are yours and you can delete them at any time on Facebook or Instagram; MOON Post does not delete posts. Invoices are kept for 10 years, as required by Romanian law.
5. How long it takes
We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. You receive a confirmation by e-mail.
